Marca Fresh and Marca Tech: the Private Label is continuing to expand

The expansion of the Private Label into all departments of Large Scale distribution is driving the development of the two thematic formats at Marca by BolognaFiere 2025: Marca Fresh and Marca Tech, which will contribute to characterise the two-day exhibition staged in Bologna on 15-16 January 2025.

The result of the synergy between Marca by BolognaFiere and SGMarketing, a consulting company specialising in fresh products, Marca Fresh gives strength to its engaging format where fruit and vegetable companies play a leading role, with the opportunity to exhibit in dedicated spaces, share content, meet and build relationships with buyers from Large Scale distribution. Reaching its fifth edition, Marca Fresh is growing strongly, counting on the presence of more than 60 exhibitors with an increase of 30% compared to the previous year. The attention of fruit and vegetable sector operators is renewed and strengthened, especially the reference chains for the production of apples, citrus fruits, eating grapes and potatoes. A full programme of meetings will include a series of industry conferences organised by SG Marketing with presentations and successful case histories dedicated to the fresh produce sector, highlighting best practices capable of satisfying consumption trends and meeting the needs of an increasingly attentive and evolved consumer also in terms of wellness and health.

At the same time Marca Tech is also growing, now in its 11th edition. The sector will occupy Hall 36, and will be entirely dedicated to intermediate goods for the supply chain of Private Label- packaging, logistics, raw materials, technology and services - offering the industry's business community the latest trends for innovating and operating sustainably and successfully. The same location will also host Marca Tech Lab, where over the two days of the show numerous workshops and conferences will be held on packaging and services issues. The prestigious schedule of meetings, which will be attended by authoritative speakers and top players of the large-scale distribution sector, will include the conference The Strategic role of the supply chain for PL organised by ADM with the participation of the most important large scale retailers, which will provide an opportunity to discuss the latest trends, allowing companies to stay updated and develop effective and sustainable solutions for the future of the market.
