Our Story Our journey began in 1922, when a group of entrepreneurs from Trapani—deeply rooted in the region’s centuries-old salt-making tradition—founded SIES, the Italian Salt Export Company. After 75 years of growth and innovation, the company evolved into SOSALT S.p.A. From the very beginning, our mission has been to refine and enhance the cultivation and harvesting of sea salt, always in harmony with the natural ecosystem that makes it possible.
